Will Ferrell puts his pants on one leg at a time, just like you. Except, once his pants are on, he stages hilarious late-night drum battles with his rock and roll lookalike.

For much of his career, Ferrell has been saddled with the gift and the curse of looking exactly like Chad Smith, drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. This has resulted in a playful rivalry between the two men, with Ferrell pretending to be Smith after a recent Reddit AMA. Smith didn't take the insult lying down, challenging the comedian to a musical duel – drum vs. cowbell – all in the name of charity.

On Thursday night, Michelle Obama joined Fallon for a segment called "Ew!" Taking on the persona – and braces – of a 'tween girl named Sara, the host welcomed a cross-dressed Will Ferrell and FLOTUS to talk about things that make them go "Ew!"

Daddy long legs, dorky stepdads and jelly doughnuts all made the list of valley girl no-nos, but when the "young ladies" tried to poo-poo exercise, Mrs. Obama had something to say.

Each of these appearances is taking place in the year 2013 (obviously), but Ferrell's Ron Burgundy character appears unchanged from the way he appears in both Anchorman films, both of which take place more than 30 years in the past.
