Originally posted 02/21/2014 09:15AM

Jimmy Fallon is wrapping up his first week as host of The Tonight Show with some major guests and serious laughs.

On Thursday night, Michelle Obama joined Fallon for a segment called "Ew!" Taking on the persona – and braces – of a 'tween girl named Sara, the host welcomed a cross-dressed Will Ferrell and FLOTUS to talk about things that make them go "Ew!"

Daddy long legs, dorky stepdads and jelly doughnuts all made the list of valley girl no-nos, but when the "young ladies" tried to poo-poo exercise, Mrs. Obama had something to say.

Will Ferrell took part in Reddit's "Ask Me Anything" series Tuesday afternoon. Because he's a stand-up guy, he was doing it to support Cancer for College (a charity that helps provide college scholarships to cancer survivors) on World Cancer Day, and because he's Will Ferrell, he made a lot of ridiculous jokes.

Here are the best bits, starting with a question from Snoop Dogg (Reddit username: Here_Comes_The_King).

Originally posted 12/27/2013 11:00AM

Look out, Ron Burgundy! There's more than one star making his comeback in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

Baxter, Burgundy's beloved canine companion, returns for the highly anticipated sequel, but with a twist: The pup's original portrayer, Peanut, passed away in the years between films, so a new pooch was cast to fill his A-List paws.

Shelter pup Quince "was found wandering around a grocery store supermarket," says his trainer Ray Beal, before making his big screen debut in Anchorman 2. But you'd never guess the dog was a newbie based on his days on set.

Will Ferrell recently revealed that his inspiration for Anchorman's Ron Burgundy came from a real-life anchor named Mort Crim.

Crim worked at newsrooms around the country, and was – with anchorwoman Jessica Savitch in Philadelphia – part of one of the first male-female news desk pairings in the country.

Will Ferrell's round-the-clock promotional tour for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is raising some interesting temporal paradoxes. Each of these appearances is taking place in the year 2013 (obviously), but Ferrell's Ron Burgundy character appears unchanged from the way he appears in both Anchorman films, both of which take place more than 30 years in the past.

Wolf Blitzer: 'Ron Burgundy Tried to Poison Me'

Originally posted 12/10/2013 08:00AM

Let's face it, by mid-2014 (assuming Anchorman 2 does well enough), Ron Burgundy will likely be an actual news anchor, and this video will seem less funny in retrospect as Will Ferrell disappears from reality, subsumed by his most hirsute creation.

Until then, though, it's hilarious. Funny or Die gathered Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer and Chris Cuomo (all of whom apparently have history with Ron) to discuss Burgundy's journalistic abilities, integrity and lack thereof.
