A few weeks ago, my wife and I watched Crazy Stupid Love (I know, I know, we're a little late to the party). In one scene, Ryan Gosling seduces Emma Stone by taking his shirt off.

I turned to my wife to see her reaction. She was beet red and had her jaw wide open. When I asked if she enjoyed the movie, she uttered, "Ryan Gosling really was … fit looking."

(I worked out twice as hard the subsequent day, by the way.)

The fact is, Ryan got in amazing shape for the film. He has become part of a long list of leading men who have exercised and dieted to make their on-screen performance more impactful.

Jada Pinkett Smith on the Divorce Rumors: Enough Already!

Jada Pinkett Smith is an experienced hand at dealing with rumors she's headed for divorce.

"It seems like that happens at least once a year, or at least once every two years," Pinkett Smith, 40, tells September's Essence.

"It's rumored that we're getting a divorce. But no. We're not getting a divorce. Where am I gonna go? Where am I going to go?" she says of her 15-year marriage to husband Will Smith.

"That's my boo. It's like he's another part of me."

Jada Pinkett Smith gave her Twitter followers a treat on Saturday: the actress posted a sexy photo of herself emerging from the ocean, showing off her impressively toned, Bond Girl-esque physique.

But Pinkett Smith, 40, wasn't just displaying her own hard work – she had an inspirational message for other women her age to accompany the picture.

Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith Visit Ethiopia for Charity

Talk about giving back for your birthday! Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, who in 2010 used their birthdays to raise $109,000 for charity: water, a non-profit organization which brings clean water to developing nations, have taken it one step further.

The couple just visited Ethiopia with charity: water and inaugurated a clean well for a village of 400.

Spotted smiling at each other while receiving gifts from grateful villagers, the two witnessed the construction of a brand-new well in the Maego village, Tigray, and even manned the organizations new drilling rig, Yellow Thunder. The celebration for the new water supply was made complete when the Smiths danced and sang along with the community.

Jada Pinkett Smith's Advice for Miley Cyrus: Be Liam's Friend

Jada Pinkett Smith remembers a thing or two about young love – and is willing to share some words of wisdom for a lasting marriage with the recently engaged Miley Cyrus.  

"Learn how to be friends, especially when you are starting that young," the Madagascar 3 star says is some of the advice she would give 19-year old Cyrus, who on May 31 became engaged to Liam Hemsworth, 22.

Pinkett Smith, in New York for the premiere of her movie, was also on hand Friday to share "mommy-talk" and advice with mom bloggers at The MOMS, a multiplatform lifestyle brand, and Capri Sun Super V Mamarazzi's event in Times Square.   

"Forever is a long time," Pinkett Smith, 40, says of being in a lasting relationship. "When you are starting forever at 19 years old, and it is not to say that there is anything wrong with that, but it is just to know that what it is now and what it will be, it is just going to continue to transform and change."

Will & Jada Pinkett Smith to Celebrate Anniversary with a High-Five

They said their "I dos" in a secret New Year's Eve ceremony in 1997. Come December, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith will celebrate 15 years as husband and wife.

"Fifteen years! It's amazing, isn't it?" Pinkett Smith told PEOPLE at the New York City premiere of Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted recently.

"I was just doing the Today show, and there was a couple there who was celebrating 59 years of marriage, and I thought to myself, '15 years ain't nothing, you know?' It's just the beginning. That's the way I look at it."

For Will Smith and his wife of nearly 15 years, Jada Pinkett Smith, it's all about being supportive.

"We make the effort to always put the family first," Smith told PEOPLE at last week's Men in Black III premiere in New York City. "Being there for each other and being present with our kids is the most important thing. I take being a parent very seriously."

The couple are parents to Trey, 19, Jaden, 13, and Willow, 11, and Will flew back to L.A. from New York nearly every weekend while filming Men in Black III.

She's only 11, but Willow Smith will be dating soon enough. And it has her father freaked out.

"It's coming, and I'm nervous about it," Will Smith told PEOPLE with a laugh at Wednesday's Men in Black III premiere in New York City. "Having two boys and a girl, I realize that boys take trouble to other people's houses, and girls bring it home."

"So, the thing we are struggling with is the rules," he says, "and setting fair rules for the boys and for Willow, but she's not having any of that."

It was good thing Will Smith isn't promoting Ali or one journalist may be a little sore right now.

The actor was walking the red carpet for the Moscow premiere of Men in Black 3 when a TV reporter kissed him on one side of the face and then the other, a TMZ video shows.

"What the hell is your problem?" says Smith, who then pushes and slaps at the amorous journalist.

Smith laughs about it and tells another reporter down the line, "He tried to kiss me on the mouth. He's lucky I didn't try to sucker punch him. ... Sorry, I said that on camera."
