Diane Kruger and longtime beau Joshua Jackson showed no lack of loving emotion over the weekend.
The actress came out to the Broad Stage in Santa Monica, Calif., to support her man, who performed during The 24 Hour Plays, presented by Montblanc.
"She held back while Josh walked the red carpet," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "But at the after party, the couple was fully together, while hanging out with Amy Smart."
The typically private pair – the subject of recent engagement rumors – stuck to the back area of the party where they weren't as noticeable, but the source says the twosome were smiling and laughing a lot, adding, "[They seemed] totally in love."
Jackson, who appeared as "a total gentleman," was in a great mood at the event, the source says, adding, "It was really sweet to watch [the couple together]."
Ashley Greene, Brooklyn Decker, Jessica Szohr and Wilmer Valderrama were also among the celebrities who took part in an on-stage performance.

Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis Reunite with That '70s Show Costars

Former costars Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have been spending some friendly time together recently – and now the pals have added more former That '70s Show costars to the mix.
On Monday, Wilmer Valderrama Tweeted a sneak preview of the anticipated reunion, writing, "Yep ... It happened."
Joining him, Kutcher and Kunis for the get-together was costar Laura Prepon.
A source tells PEOPLE that the mini-reunion is expected to air as part of Fox's 25th Anniversary special this Sunday. And according to an EW.com report, castmembers from In Living Color, 24 and Married...With Children are expected to appear on the April 22 show, as well.
As for Kutcher and Kunis, who were photographed furniture shopping in L.A. recently, a source tells PEOPLE, "They have been friends for years."

After an evening of partying at the opening of Marquee – The Star, a new nightclub in Sydney, Australia, they were spotted taking a cozy walk along the water at Balmoral on Tuesday.
Fueling rumors that the two are more than friends, Valderrama, 32, draped his arm around Kelly, 31, who was all smiles in a casual blouse and denim shorts.

Minka Kelly and Wilmer Valderrama were spotted getting close at L.A.'s Greystone Manor. They had a private booth by the deejay booth and were "all over each other," an onlooker tells us. As for their behavior in the club, the source elaborates: "They were very flirty and dancing close. They even left with each other."
But despite being spotted in Paris recently with ex Derek Jeter, with whom Kelly split in August 2011, a source tells PEOPLE the actress is "doing fine." The source also says that Kelly relocated back to Los Angeles after spending a lot of time in New York.

Newly single Demi Lovato popped by Beacher's Madhouse at The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood Wednesday, grabbing a seat with pals Kim and Khloé Kardashian. The starlet was really into the stage shows, and sang along with the house auto-tune band, Pop Shop, as they played Nicki Minaj's hit "Superbass." The singer didn't seem to mind when ex Wilmer Valderrama arrived at the club, and looked on as the Kardashian sisters hit the stage when the DJ blasted the latest Jay-Z and Kanye West hits.

Although the kissy couple never confirmed their relationship in the first place, Lovato, 19, went from Tweeting her excitement about People's Choice Awards rehearsals to posting about staying independent from the opposite sex.
"A wise girl kisses but doesn't love, listens but doesn't believe, and leaves before she is left," the former Disney starlet, quoting Marilyn Monroe, re-Tweeted one of her followers early Tuesday morning.
Just minutes after the Tweet that appeared to come out of nowhere, Lovato then posted, "The smartest thing a woman can ever learn, is to never need a man."

Fergie was certainly animated at the launch party for Ubisoft's Black Eyed Peas Experience dance-themed video game at L.A.'s Supperclub. The singer was chatting with her bandmates and fellow revelers, like Wilmer Valderrama, at her VIP table at the back of the dance floor. But Fergie and the Peas also treated the crowd to an impromptu (and intimate) performance. At the bash, Kutcher Tweeted a picture of himself hanging out with his The '70s Show costars Wilmer Valderrama and newlywed Danny Masterson, who played music while the guys hung out near the deejay booth. The singer, 19, was spotted smooching former beau Wilmer Valderrama, 31, in the Los Angeles area on Tuesday.
The actress, who split from Joe Jonas in 2010, was linked to Valderrama shortly after the breakup. Later that year, she entered treatment for eating disorders and bipolar disorder.
While Lovato and Valderrama were photographed in a passionate embrace, they remain mum about their relationship.
