Who Knew Chuck's Zachary Levi Could Sing?
Originally posted 05/07/2010 02:00PM
If playing a tech geek-turned-super spy out to protect national security on the hit show Chuck isn't enough, Zachary Levi has signed up for another mission: Katharine McPhee's unlikely costar and duet partner in her latest music video for "Terrified."
The song, penned by American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, was originally recorded by singer-songwriter Jason Reeves for McPhee's second album, Unbroken. But when the former Idol runner up premiered her new video, it featured the 29-year-old Chuck star cozying up to McPhee in a recording studio.
Turns out Levi actually has a background in musical theater. The budding singer grew up performing in community plays and musicals near his childhood Ventura, Calif., home before he became Chuck the spy.
