Everyone bow down: Zendaya celebrates her 19th birthday on Tuesday.
Despite not even being out of her teens, the actress, singer, dancer and master of the eloquent-yet-devastating comeback has established herself as one of the most talented and inspiring rising stars in Hollywood.
Whether she's slaying it on the red carpet, dominating on Dancing with the Stars or standing up for herself and others against online bullying, it's hard not to look at Zendaya and want to be her best friend.
In honor of this role model for people of all ages entering the last year of her teens, let's celebrate by looking back at five of her most empowering, inspiring moments.

Zendaya is set to guest star on the second season of Black-ish, PEOPLE can exclusively announce.
The 18-year-old actress and singer will be playing Resheida, a friend of Zoey (Yara Shahidi).
Since Resheida doesn't have a father, she immediately takes to Emmy nominee Anthony Anderson's Dre, agreeing with his belief that all dads should be respected, according to a character description from ABC.

Zendaya is "about empowerment," she tells PEOPLE. That means she's pulling double duty these days, taking on challenges both personal and worldwide (web).
For starters, when the star called out Twitter user @Manstagram last week for his insulting Tweet about YouTube beauty blogger Shannon (a.k.a. Shaaanxo), it was all about doing the right thing: lifting people up rather than putting them down.
"When you see something happening, and you don't think it's fair or you don't like it, then you say something, and that's just the way I was raised, and that's just the way I've always been taught," she said at Sunday's Children Mending Hearts 7th Annual Fundraiser in Malibu.
