Owen Wilson sure knows how to horse around.
The actor was joined by his girlfriend Jade Duell and their 2-year-old son, Ford, at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles on Saturday.
"Owen was really sweet with baby Ford," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
The proud parents took the event as a chance to introduce their son to a horse. "Ford smiled and Owen started snapping photos of Ford with the horse. He kept saying, 'Ford, Ford, look at me' to get the baby to look at him while he took the photos on his iPhone," the source adds.

Opting for blueberry, strawberry and banana waffles – sans bacon – Cranston "was just a regular guy," the restaurant's manager told PEOPLE. "He was cool to people."
Dressed casually in a striped shirt and Los Angeles Dodgers hat, Cranston had no problem posing for a quick photo with one of the restaurant’s employees, a big Breaking Bad fan.
