Leonardo DiCaprio's Beverly Hills Dinner Date with Gal Pal Toni Garrn

It's been quite the celebratory time of season for Leonardo DiCaprio, who clearly wanted to bask in the joys of success with his significant other.

The Academy Award-nominated Wolf of Wall Street star made his way to hotspot Hakkasan Beverly Hills with his gal pal Toni Garrn on Saturday night.

Clad in his classic look of a tailored jacket and messenger hat, the actor "was low-key and stayed out of the spotlight," an onlooker tells PEOPLE, adding that despite the low profile, it was easy to tell "he was smitten with Toni, as they sipped on the restaurant's Hakka cocktails and shared jasmine tea smoked pork short ribs and stir-fry mushroom lettuce wraps."

Joaquin Phoenix, Leonardo DiCaprio Hit Up Diddy's Golden Globes Afterparty | Joaquin Phoenix, Leonardo DiCaprio

Joaquin Phoenix and Leonardo DiCaprio had plenty in common at Sunday's Golden Globe Awards. Both were nominees for best actor in a comedy or musical; both brought their moms to the event; and both later accepted Diddy's invitation for some after-hours fun.

DiCaprio won for The Wolf of Wall Street, but that didn't seem to dampen Phoenix's spirits, as the actors, both 39, hit up Butter Group's soon-to-open nightclub 1 OAK LA in West Hollywood, where Diddy held court and a deejay spun tunes late into the night – and Diddy's new DeLeon tequila flowed generously.

Phoenix, who was nominated for Her, arrived at about 10:45 p.m. with his mom, his girlfriend Allie Teilz and some other friends. The famously reclusive actor was in a great mood, smiling and laughing throughout the evening and even hitting the dance floor with Teilz. At one point, Teilz threw her arms around him and the two were lovey dovey.
