Says the source: "Everyone seemed to be having a blast."
While hubby Jay-Z is busy working on his Watch the Throne show with Kanye West, Beyoncé spent her time shopping in Vancouver. The pregnant pop star and her entourage arrived at upscale department store Holt Renfrew where they were met with more security, who ensured fellow shoppers didn't snap photos or harass Beyoncé. She, meanwhile, stopped at several cosmetics counters, then made her way to the fragrance department. Despite the security, Beyoné went relatively unnoticed, a source says. "She looked so comfortable and quite pretty," the source tells us, adding that she was "super friendly" with the staff. – Christine Kilpatrick
Jay-Z may have been in Sin City for his Watch the Throne tour with Kanye West, but the rapper also made plenty of time for his pregnant wife – and partying with his fans: On Saturday, Beyoncé and her hubby attended the early performance of Cirque du Soleil's show, Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Afterward, the couple ventured backstage to meet some of the show's 64 artists. Later in the night, Jay-Z headed to Tao with his guy friends. And his arrival was heralded by a six-piece marching band – led by a little person – which traveled through the crowd of clubgoers to greet him at his VIP table. The champagne flowed all night, and before leaving at 3 a.m., Jay-Z hopped into the deejay booth to thank his fans and DJ Ross One for the fun night.
