Joe Jonas and his lady are flying high.
The singer, along with girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler, joined Richard Branson at 35,000 feet on Monday to celebrate the launch of Virgin America's new route from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.
"They were very cute together," an onlooker says of the couple. "They sat next to each other all night, and he never left her side."

Coachella, the two-weekend long music festival in Indio, Calif., started off on a high note when it hosted a number of famous fans over the weekend – including Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Katy Perry, Julianne Hough and more.
But just because the first weekend of the two-part concert in the desert has come to an end doesn't mean the celebrity guests were ready to stop partying.
Unexpected pals and fellow music lovers Connor Cruise and Joe Jonas recently hit up West Hollywood, where they took in dinner with a group of about eight at Bagatelle L.A.
"A few girls met them and they ended up chatting up a few [more] girls at the table next to them," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
The son of Tom Cruise was apparently pretty famished and indecisive. He ordered steak, truffled chicken and gnocchi.
Jonas, who sipped on Grey Goose and pineapple, seemed less hungry, ordering chicken that he shared with another friend.
Says the source, "They spent most of the night talking about Joe's [upcoming] birthday."

Joe Jonas was ready to party on Thursday night – but only with his boys.
The musician came through Beacher's Madhouse at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with a large entourage at around 11:45 p.m. Once inside, the group was escorted to a table and helped by a cocktail waitress, who poured Jonas several vodka drinks throughout the night.
"He was very friendly with the staff at the club who came to say hello," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "Throughout the night, he was approached by different women. Sometimes he was polite and other times he seemed more annoyed."
Why? The onlooker explains: "The girls were fairly aggressive with him. It was clear Joe wasn't interested in any of them."
Fresh off the plane from N.Y.C. on Wednesday, Joe Jonas wasted no time getting back into the L.A. party circuit, heading downtown for the Absolut Greyhound vodka bash at the Belasco, where he joined other celebrities, including Nicole Scherzinger, Joel Madden and Glee's Jenna Ushkowitz, who was there with her Vampire Diaries beau Michael Trevino.
Taking in the sounds of DJ Politik and Swedish House Mafia, Jonas sipped on the signature cocktails of the night and hung out with his guy friends, including a member of his band.
"Girls came up to his table the whole time he was there," a source tells PEOPLE. "He was polite, but he mainly just stuck to his guys the entire night."

Joe Jonas enjoyed a fun day out with a big group of pals at Miami's Mondrian South Beach. The singer and his seven friends were hanging out by the pool, where Jonas ordered a turkey club sandwich and a strawberry daiquiri from Asia de Cuba, the hotel's restaurant. According to a source, Jonas, who was there with a mix of girls and guys, complimented the staff on the vibe and enjoyed the service. Joe Jonas partied in Miami Beach – French style. The singer attended the Baoli Love Boat bash with a group of friends, including some models, and he and his pals dined on tuna tartar, sea bass and filet mignon. They also indulged in a super-sized pitcher of cocktails with three-foot straws, a source tells people.
Baoli brought over the themed soiree from Cannes, and transformed the venue into a nautical paradise. Think white and navy blue accents, flowing fabric, flickering candles, flower arrangements and sensual blue lights. Servers, meanwhile, were dressed as if they were a nautical crew – from captains to shipmates.
Says a source: "Joe loved the party and stopped to take pictures with any fan that asked. He partied at Wall after, even going live on the mic to introduce the deejay to club." – Linda Marx
