Almost in the final stretch before her baby boy is due in September, Vanessa Lachey took in some relaxation time this week.

Joined by an unidentifiable female friend, Lachey stopped by Bellacures nail salon in L.A.'s Studio City area, where the Wipeout host got what's called a gelicure.

"She looked relaxed and comfortable in a black maxi dress," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.

Lachey did have one request unrelated to nails during her time at the salon. The source says the mom-to-be asked for an iced tea from Il Tramezzino, the Italian eatery nearby.

Vanessa Lachey was beaming all night while hanging out with hubby Nick at the opening party for Marquee – the Star, a nightclub in Sydney, Australia.

"She was literally glowing," a source says of the pregnant starlet, who also wore five-inch heels to the soiree. She and Lachey spent their evening dancing together and being generally affectionate – with Nick rubbing Vanessa's belly. They also chatted up Kellan Lutz and discussed how they're preparing for their baby's arrival.

Also at the party: Joe Jonas, Wilmer Valderrama and Ashlee Simpson, who spent the night hanging out with Minka Kelly – a recent companion of Valderrama's.

With a baby on the way, parents-to-be Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo decided to savor a night out at Tavern in Brentwood, Calif., over the weekend. The "super nice" pair joined another couple for dinner, and everyone listened as Minnillo talked about how wonderful her pregnancy has been. Lea Michele caught a red eye from California just to make it in time for Jennifer Lopez's emotional concert at Connecticut's Mohegan Sun. The newly single Glee star was spotted near the stage, snacking on nachos and dancing with her friend. Afterward, she went backstage to hang out in Lopez's dressing room.
