The View host recently stepped out for lunch at Delmonico's in New York, where she got a behind-the-scenes look at how the legendary restaurant operates.

Goldberg took a tour with the restaurant's executive chef Billy Oliva – and even got a history lesson (Delmonico's, near Wall Street on Lower Manhattan's Beaver Street, has been dubbed America's first fine dining restaurant).

"She was in a great mood. After her tour, Whoopi posed for photos with the staff," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "She even went into the kitchen to pose with the sous chefs."

Leo was "over the moon" to meet Mickey Mouse backstage, an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "Their little boy was beyond excited that Mickey Mouse was actually standing right in front of him – and not on TV."

The proud parents – who are expecting their second child – took pictures of Leo hugging Mickey and "got a kick out of how excited he was to meet Mickey Mouse."

Sedgwick arrived early at 6:30 p.m. and less than an hour later was joined by Bacon, Sosie and a few friends, a source tells PEOPLE.

"Kyra was in an extremely happy mood, as was Kevin," the source adds. "At one point, Kevin stood and made a toast and specifically pointed out that he was glad to know his family could come together and celebrate despite their hectic schedules."

Beckham arrived backstage carrying Harper, 2½, on her hip, where the models gushed over the adorable tot. The very well-behaved little girl held on to her mom, who was in a great mood as she went over all the final touches for the show.

With her three brothers nowhere to be found, Harper was a girly girl in gray knit tights and a gray dress with a big pink heart.

Beckham's collection featured a dark palette – black, navy and charcoal – and models with minimal makeup, clear nails and naturally tousled tresses.
