In New Orleans to film his latest movie, Mark Wahlberg stopped into Morton's the Steakhouse for a dinner break. The actor and his guests were extremely friendly to the restaurant staff, a source says. And for dinner? The group dined on the filet, the rib eye and some Brussels sprouts. – Jennifer Garcia
Emmy winner – and recent Saturday Night Live host – Melissa McCarthy was greeted by a round of applause from the staff as she arrived for a meal at Morton's the Steakhouse in Burbank, Calif., with her husband Ben Falcone. Katy Perry also celebrated post-VMAs Sunday night, popping into Morton's The Steakhouse in Beverly Hills to thank record label executive Greg Thompson, who was at the restaurant having dinner. The double winner only stayed for a few minutes, but stopped to take pictures with fans and was extremely friendly to the staff and fellow guests, a source tells PEOPLE.
Shakira, cheering on soccer stud (and boyfriend) Gerard Piqué as his team, FC Barcelona, played in Dallas, Texas. The singer also stopped in to Morton's the Steakhouse, where she shared a ribeye and porterhouse steak with her group. And the singer was happy to pose for pictures with the staff, a source says.
While spending time in her home country of Canada, Avril Lavigne took beau Brody Jenner to Morton's The Steakhouse in Toronto. The couple tasted scallops, chopped salad, filet, an iceberg wedge salad and crab legs, and were very friendly to the staff, a witness tells PEOPLE.
Zac Efron took a night off from filming The Lucky Ones to grab dinner with a male pal in New Orleans. The pair visited Morton's the Steakhouse, where they split an ocean platter and dined on Porterhouse steaks and grilled asparagus. "They were discussing how much they enjoyed being in New Orleans, and seemed to be in great spirits," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
Taking a break from filming her new movie Contagion in Chicago, Gwyneth Paltrow and two pals joked about ordering way too much food at Bar 12-21 inside Morton's the Steakhouse in Rosemont, Ill. The group started out with a shrimp cocktail and salads before moving on to a meal that included filet mignon, shrimp Alexander and sea bass. Paltrow was very complimentary of the staff and the food, a source says.
