Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert
Sunday's 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards proved a big night
for Miranda Lambert
, but now she's ready to focus on her big day: her upcoming wedding
to Blake Shelton.
"Obviously, it was a huge, amazing night," Lambert, 27, told PEOPLE of the ACM Awards. "Now I can go 'thank you' and plan the next thing, which is getting ready for the wedding. I'm glad I can focus on it from now until then because it's a huge thing to become a wife."
Lambert was honored as favorite female vocalist, and for record of the year, video of the year and song of the year for her ballad, "The House that Built Me."
It was also an important night for Shelton, who co-hosted the show
, though he didn't bend under the strain of it.
"All this pressure is coming at him and he's the same old jokester," Lambert said of her fiancé. "I'm so happy I can be there for him to hold him up – or I was ready to hold him up but I [didn't] need to because he [did] great on his own."
"And he looked great!" Lambert added. "I'm like, 'Look, that's my hot fiancé!' "
