With the celebrity world raining scorn upon him, Kanye West issued a second, more heartfelt apology Monday for his outburst during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the Video Music Awards.
"I feel like Ben Stiller in Meet the Parents when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave," West writes on his blog. "That was Taylor's moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry."
In his first apology, West said he was "SOOOOO SORRY" for interrupting Swift on stage, but repeated his on-air remark that Beyoncé still had the better video.
