In the lead actress in a comedy category it's less clear whom the Facebook users are rooting for. Zooey Deschanel has more "Likes" than her fellow nominees Tina Fey
, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Amy Poehler, Melissa McCarthy, Lena Dunham and Edie Falco. However, Tina Fey has had more mentions on Facebook since the nominations were announced on July 19.
For the men, The Big Bang Theory
's Jim Parsons has more "Likes" than his fellow nominees Louis C.K., Larry David, Alec Baldwin, Don Cheadle and Jon Cryer. But C.K., Baldwin and David have had more mentions.
Eric Stonestreet of Modern Family
has the most "Likes" in the supporting actor category, followed by his costar Ed O'Neill, SNL
's Bill Hader, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Max Greenfield. But Hader leads in mentions.
Lead actress nominee Claire Danes
leads with "Likes" over the rest of her category: Kathy Bates, Juilanna Margulies, Glenn Close, Elisabeth Moss and Michelle Dockery. But Bates, who recently announced she has undergone treatment for breast cancer
