Jesse Tyler Ferguson: Wedding Planning Starts 'Soon'
Jesse Tyler Ferguson is basking in the joy of being engaged to lawyer Justin Mikita.
"It's very exciting," the Modern Family actor, 36, told PEOPLE Sunday on the red carpet at the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards. "We're very excited about it."
Now comes the next step: the wedding. "We've been engaged since July, so we're just kind of enjoying that," Ferguson says. "We're going to start planning soon."
A recent engagement isn't the only thing the star had to celebrate at the awards.
Although he lost the race for supporting actor in a comedy series to costar (and onscreen partner) Eric Stonestreet, his ABC show won once again for outstanding comedy series.
