Was Gwyneth Paltrow's Performance 'Country Strong' Enough at CMAs?

She has the Hollywood pedigree and a British rocker husband – but on Wednesday night, Gwyneth Paltrow was courting Nashville.

In her live debut as a country crooner at the CMA Awards, she belted out the title track from her upcoming film Country Strong, accompanying herself on acoustic guitar.

If Paltrow was nervous, her tuneful performance – backed by Vince Gill on harmonies and electric guitar – didn't betray any hint of it, though she did joke on a CMT pre-show telecast, "I went to a great bar across the street and had a pint of Guinness. I'm feeling good."
