The actress, 40, kicked off the festive season with a party for her close friends and employees at her Beverly Hills house on Sunday. Among the nearly 100 guests who attended the celebration were Courteney Cox, Laura Dern, yoga instructor Mandy Ingber, hairstylist Chris McMillan and Aniston's acting coach Leigh Kilton Smith.
"Jen's private chef served guests a variety of Christmas-inspired dishes," according to one guest. "Jen loves Christmas, and her house was festively decorated with a huge tree, twinkling Christmas lights and fragrant flower arrangements."
Earlier in the week, Aniston prepared for her fete by picking up a Noble Fir Christmas tree at Mr. Greentrees in Beverly Hills.
"Jen was very excited about picking up a Christmas tree. She took her time choosing the perfect tree and she was in a great mood," says a source.
And this holiday season marks a more settled time for the star. "Last year at her holiday party, Jen had just moved into her new house. This year, she was able to proudly show guests her house after she put her mark on it," says the guest. "Jen seemed happy about how the party turned out."
