"This is a really exciting time," Vazquez, 30, and Anthony, 25, say in a statement to PEOPLE Saturday. "We are looking forward to this summer to celebrate our love with our close friends and family." The couple has a 3-year-old son, Kiyan, together.
Vazquez, a former MTV veejay, announced in January, that after a five-year engagement, she and her Denver Nuggets beau had finally decided to marry this summer. Vazquez told Williams she expected to invite "maybe 250-300 people. … Everybody’s been waiting for it so long, we might as well invite everybody to come hang out."
Vazquez, who will star in the 2011 action-thriller Gun with 50 Cent and Val Kilmer, enlisted celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss, and guests for the star-studded soiree will include Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, Kobe and Vanessa Bryant, Ciara and Michael Jordan.
