Kate Middleton Spending Night Before Wedding at Goring Hotel

She will be in the Royal Suite of the Goring Hotel, a stone's throw from Buckingham Palace. Complete with four-poster bed and waterproof TV in the bathroom, the rooms have every luxury that the soon-to-wed Kate will need in order to relax before her big day.
And, as if she needs any reminder of the family she is set to marry into, there's even a framed prototype of the silk wedding gown that Queen Victoria wore – as well as a jokey portrait of fictional royal servant Blackadder, popularized on TV by British comedian Rowan Atkinson, hanging in the bathroom.
The palace confirmed Friday that Kate and her family will stay at the hotel on April 28.
At early briefings about the upcoming wedding, palace aides had said that Kate had not decided whether to stay at a palace or a private residence in the area. Today, they say that it was "the Middleton family's personal choice" to pick the Goring.
It's also been confirmed that the young bridesmaids and pages will also leave for Westminster Abbey from the Goring along with maid of honor, Pippa Middleton, 27.
Meanwhile, William, 28, will spend his night at Clarence House – from where he will leave accompanied by his best man, and brother, Prince Harry, 24.
It's been reported in U.K. paper The Sun that the hotel has undergone a $240,000 remodeling of its top floor in order to make it ready for its high profile guest.
