Two days to go, and Prince William and Kate Middleton have some last-minute wedding preparations to attend to.
The couple are spending Wednesday in meetings and may be involved in some rehearsals – most likely out of sight at Clarence House – for the wedding, which has been five months in the planning.
With sunnier skies over Westminster Abbey again (after clouds and cooler temperatures on Tuesday), the couple can be more optimistic of a rain-free occasion as they put the final touches on their big day.
Then it will be time for them to relax – or at least, try to relax. Palace sources tell PEOPLE that William, 28, and Kate, 29, will spend Thursday evening apart as she heads to the Goring Hotel to spend her final night as a single woman.
William, meanwhile, is set to have a private dinner at the Clarence House with his father Prince Charles, 62, stepmother Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, and brother Prince Harry, 26, the royal source adds.
The flowers are being put in place at Westminster Abbey, and the military – some 1,000 soldiers, sailors and airmen – are being drilled on their role during the grand celebration.
