As royal admirers speculate about Kate Middleton's budding fashion style, the exhibition "Diana – The People's Princess" is revisiting the timeless fashion of her late mother-in-law.

The traveling exhibit, which ends on May 8, grants Americans the rare opportunity to view up close 14 of Princess Diana's most recognizable dresses. The crown jewels of the collection: a black V-neck frock donned in her official portrait and the silky, midnight blue gown worn while dancing with John Travolta in 1985.

The show, which also features mementos from her childhood home and video footage of the late princess, is now showing at the Flying Monkey Movie House and Performance Center in Plymouth, New Hampshire. This is its final stop before her wardrobe heads to Canada, where it is to be auctioned off in June – one month before the Princess of Wales would have turned 50.
