Another weekend, another outing for the Party Prince.
After his first week of military training, Prince Harry, 27, spent Saturday night catching a live music show at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, Calif.
"He is unbelievably sweet, and was very courteous and friendly to the staff," says Meryl Klemow, spokesperson for the live-music club, located about 20 minutes north of San Diego.
"He was dancing and laughing and going from person to person. You could tell he was a big music fan."
There were 10 people in his party, including two young women, "but it all seemed friendly," Klemow says. They arrived by 9 p.m. for the sold-out show and stayed through the night.
Matt Burke, lead vocalist for the San Diego-based group Vokab Kompany, says he heard Prince Harry was watching from the VIP area.
"He was a real dude. He wasn't putting on airs and acting like a prince," he says. "Just to think he's down with that scene is super-tight."
But the prince and his group did make one request: adjusting the TV to the Rugby World Cup match, and the staff happily obliged. The group finally left at about 1:15 a.m.
Klemow says Prince Harry is welcome back anytime. "It was a royal treat."
