The royals are again going on tour – this time to the Far East as well as the Caribbean, all so the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry can help their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, mark her Diamond Jubilee.

William and Kate, both 29, will take in Malaysia, Singapore, Solomon Islands and Tuvalu, most likely in the fall. Prince Harry, 27, meanwhile, is due in Belize, Jamaica, and the Bahamas.

As for the older generation, William's father Prince Charles and his wife Camilla will see Canada, Papua New Guinea, Australia and New Zealand. The Queen's other children – Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Princess Anne – also have overseas visits factored into their schedules next year.

The tours are all being carried out on behalf of the Queen, 85, who will stay at home with husband Prince Philip, 90, and visit many towns and cities around the U.K.

A centerpiece of the Jubilee, which marks 60 years on the throne for the Queen, will be a concert at Buckingham Palace on June 4, led by singer Gary Barlow, who is fast becoming their go-to guy for such events.

Money for charities supported for the royals was raised at one of Barlow's gigs last week – and William and Kate were there.
