The Queen Is 'Definitely Supporting' Kate in Photo Scandal: Source

The Duchess of Cambridge
The Palace may have reacted with "anger and disbelief" over the publication of topless photos of the Duchess of Cambridge – but it's not directed at Kate.
William's father Prince Charles and grandmother Queen Elizabeth II "are most definitely supporting [Will and Kate] in everything that they are doing," a Palace source tells PEOPLE in its new issue, on newsstands Friday.
So far, they have backing of the courts, too. The duo won an injunction in France to stop further publication of the images, which were taken as Kate sunbathed topless at a château in the South of France.
But with the pictures already seen by millions around the world on the Internet, bitter feelings remain. "William will be absolutely fuming," says his former press aide Colleen Harris.
The couple do have one advantage: their golden standing has gone far with the royal relatives.
"If this were Fergie, [the Queen] would be livid," Ken Wharfe, Princess Diana's former bodyguard tells PEOPLE, referring to Sarah Ferguson, who found herself in a bind over racy pictures 20 years ago. "But this is top-drawer royalty: a favorite grandson and his beautiful wife. They live in another world."
