The grandparents and aunt and uncle of the soon-to-be-born Baby Cambridge had a night out at the palace Thursday.

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla joined Carole and Mike Middleton at a concert to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's coronation.

They were joined by Pippa Middleton and her brother James as they sat in the royal box at a concert at sundown in the back garden of Buckingham Palace.

Front and center for the evening of song and dance was the Queen, who had enjoyed an afternoon of fun at the coronation festival staged by the businesses that provide official goods and services to the palace.

The Middletons have been frequent guests at royal events such as the Epsom Derby and Ascot horse races and landmark events to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee last year.

The evening began with the national anthem being sung by opera star Dame Kiri Te Kawana. Later, songstress Katherine Jenkins and classical singer Russell Watson were set to perform.

Also in the royal box was Zara Tindall, 32, who has just revealed she's expecting the Queen's fourth great-grandchild. She didn't have husband Mike with her but sat with cousin Princess Beatrice.

Pregnant Kate, 31, who is due next week, is believed to be resting at home at Kensington Palace's Nottingham Cottage.
