Kate Middleton looked every inch a princess when she attended an event at Buckingham Palace with husband Prince William on Tuesday.
Wearing a sparkling diamond tiara for the first time since her 2011 wedding, the new mom paired it with diamond earrings and a white lace dress.
Her husband also looked dashing in a white tie and tails.
The delicate fan motif tiara, which is made of diamonds and pearls, is the same tiara worn by the late Queen Mother when she was Duchess of York in the 1920s.
Kate, 31, wore her hair half-up to show off the stunning piece of jewelry believed to have been lent to her by the Queen.
The couple were attending the annual state reception held by the Queen to welcome representatives from 172 foreign missions.
William and Kate were supporting the Queen at the glittering bash alongside Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
The Queen normally asks some of her family to help meet and greet the dignitaries and this was the first time William and Kate had taken on the role.
It was a rare date night for the new parents, who have been taking turns attending events so that one of them could stay home with their baby boy, Prince George, who was born in July.
