The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent their first night away from Prince George on their New Zealand tour, staying at a five-star lodge.
After a fantastic day of fun-filled activities (Rugby with kids! Wine-tasting! Riding a speedboat on a canyon river!) the couple retired to Matakauri Lodge, a short drive from Queenstown.
They're believed to have stayed at the owner's cottage, which is specially designed for groups traveling together. The small luxury lodge, on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, is surrounded by astonishing mountains, affording amazing views at sunset and when the royal couple woke.
After rising Sunday, they headed to Christchurch, which was hit by an earthquake in 2011.
William and Kate will be reunited with George, who was being cared for by nanny Maria Borrallo at Government House in Wellington, later. They have scheduled another night away, in Uluru, Australia, where they're set to go "glamping."
