Prince Harry has some big shoes to fill when it comes to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and now he's speaking out about how hard it is to follow in her impressive footsteps.

In a new documentary honoring the monarch's milestone birthday on April 21, Harry admits he feels the pressure of living up to her reputation.

"There is nowhere on this planet that I can think of that she hasn't been in the last 90 years. She's been everywhere," he tells The Queen at Ninety.

"Sometimes its quite hard because you go to a place where she hasn't visited for maybe 20 years, maybe 15 years, and you think to yourself, 'How can I ever fulfill this huge expectation that comes with her and being a member of her family.' "

The documentary, which airs in the U.K. on Sunday, also featured footage of the royal making her vow to serve her country at age 21 – and Harry calls it a "hugely moving speech."

"It's just incredible to know that someone at that age appreciated and understood exactly what was expected of them, and to basically put duty ahead of everything else so early on in her life is quite remarkable," adds Harry, who recently made the surprise announcement that he's extending his tour of Nepal to help rebuild a school.

"It's very special having a new little girl ... I feel very, very lucky that George has got a little sister," she says in the documentary. "The Queen was really thrilled that it was a little girl, and I think as soon as we came back here to Kensington she was one of our first visitors here."

And the Queen's daughter-in-law Sophie, Countess of Wessex, talks about the monarch's decision to wear vivid colors during her royal duties.

"She needs to stand out for people to be able to say, 'I saw the Queen!' "
