PEOPLE's royal correspondent Simon Perry, who landed in India Friday, will be on the scene, ready to capture the royal couple's every move, including their much-anticipated visit to the majestic Taj Mahal, their glam night out in Mumbai and their first face-to-face with the Will and Kate of the Himalayas – King Jigme and Queen Jetsun.
"It's 12:30 a.m. and we have just hurtled through the busy freeways from the airport to downtown Mumbai – and its still buzzing," Perry shares from India.
"When William and Kate arrive they can expect it to be very hot," he continues. "It's a sticky 84 degrees right now."

"We heard the other night that Kate likes spicy food, but that William's not as keen," Perry adds. "Here's hoping they get to sample a lot of the cuisine. I'm certainly looking forward to it!"
