We're finally finding out exactly what's in that suitcase! Princess Kate has only been in India for two days, but she has already squeezed in five outfit changes – and a few fun surprises! Let's break it down.

India Outfit No. 1

To kick things off on Sunday, the royal mom chose an Alexander McQueen (her wedding dress designer!) featuring a traditional Indian ambi print design in shades of burnt orange and white.

She paired that dress with her familiar heels – but in a slightly different style. Rather than her favorite L.K. Bennett nude pumps (in the Sledge style), she opted for the brand's more elegant 3.5-inch Fern style retailing for $345.

To tackle the cricket field, Kate slipped on a pair of taupe espadrille wedges from the British store Monsoon paired with a tunic dress by Mumbai designer Anita Dongre. From the Indian label's "Love Notes" collection, the $236 georgette fabric dress features Mughal-inspired motifs and was bought by Kate's team "a couple of months ago," according to the label's spokesperson.

"We had no clue that she would wear this dress today and we were taken by surprise when we saw photos," designer Dongre, who has been in business for more than 20 years, tells PEOPLE. "I've always been a huge fan of the Duchess and her style, and I feel privileged to be the first ever Indian designer that she wore for this tour."

Her jewelry for this look was decidedly accessible: Kate teamed the look with a pair of imitation gold Filigree Bead Short Drop earrings from Accessorize (part of the Monsoon brand) which cost just $11.

In her final look on Sunday, Kate went for full-on glamour in a custom-made Jenny Packham design for a Bollywood gala. The royal blue, sari-inspired gown featured intricate bead work that was hand-finished in India and included a matching sheer long-sleeved cape and clutch bag.

This time, her earrings were a little bit pricier: Made by Jaipur-based jewelers Amrapali, they were sourced by Kate's team from the brand's Knightsbridge boutique. The blue lapis earrings with diamonds are part of the brand's Royal Blue Collection and retail for $1,937.

For a visit to a technology event on Monday in Mumbai (where we learned that there are some things Kate simply won't sample!), the royal wore one of her favorite designers, Emilia Wickstead.

But during a somber event later, the dress indulged in a Marilyn moment. (In the future, Kate may want to consider having small weights added to her hems – a trick often employed by her grandmother-in-law, the Queen.)

India Outfit No. 5

For her final look of day two – worn to a garden party honoring Queen Elizabeth's 90th birthday – Kate chose a black-and-white patterned ensemble by Temperley London, another of her favorite designers. The $2,995 embroidered silk organza maxi skirt is detailed with crystals and intricate black crochet trims and matches the delicate $1,525 tulle top.
