Princess Kate took home a very special souvenir from her colorful royal tour of India and Bhutan.

Queen Jetsun of Bhutan gifted the fellow royal mom with the beautiful "Endless Knot" necklace from Bhutanese designer Sonam Rabgye. It was given to Kate during the visit she and husband William shared with the Queen and her husband King Jigme last week.

Kate then wore it as she left the mountain kingdom and headed for the Taj Mahal in India on April 16.

Rabgye tells PEOPLE that the design "is an auspicious Buddhist symbol representing the harmony of wisdom and compassion."

She says her business is a social enterprise that "creates Bhutanese fine fashion, classic designs, bespoke pieces and Buddhist totems" and hopes to "make a meaningful and sustainable impact in Bhutan."
