4 Times Prince George Proved He's King (Just This Past Week!)

04/26/2016 AT 11:40 AM EDT

He hasn't even celebrated his third birthday yet, but Prince George has long proven he's pretty much ready for the throne.

He reiterated his monarch-to-be status during a series of major moments in just the past week alone – and each time, cemented his place as the heir he is. To review:

1. He's pals with the leader of the free world.
Prince William and Princess Kate may be raising George (and little sister Princess Charlotte) in as "normal" a household as they can, but there's something decidedly not normal about greeting the President of the United States before you go to bed. George, of course, handled the meeting with the finesse of a future king and even impressed his new friends. After the meeting, President Obama called George "adorable," although we're sure he was thinking "impressively regal" too.

2. He knows the importance of developing your signature style – even at bedtime.
Note: The pattern of the piping on his robe matches his pajamas. He wears velvet slippers. Even minutes before bed, he out-dappered his dad, his uncle and the president. And of course, that side part doesn't have a hair out of place.

Also note: His robe has his name on it. Would we forget his name? No. But it's there, because he's Prince George.

3. He's on equal footing with the Queen.
His face has already been splashed across comparative mugs, plates and tea towels – so it was only a matter of time until it also appeared on mail, too. His smiling face, pictured alongside the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William in a portrait to commemorate the Queen's 90th, will soon be gracing packages all across the world. And though his dad, grandpa and "Gan-Gan" are getting their own new stamps too, there's no doubt that George's will be a best seller. After all, he may need foam blocks to reach his relatives' height, but he needs no assistance in stealing the spotlight.

Being the only kid in your preschool class with your face on postage? That's about as royal as it gets.

4. He's an effortless attention grabber.
As the new photo of George, the Queen and the elder heirs proved, he doesn't have to do much to grab everyone's attention. More proof? The recent Annie Leibovitz portrait of the Queen, two of her grandchildren, and all of her great-grandchildren. Though little Mia Tindall had the foresight to grab the Queen's purse for the shot, and it was mini-Queen Princess Charlotte who got the place of honor on her great-grandmother's lap, it's impossible to ignore George's deep, pondering stare.
