Jane Lynch has been making people laugh for years. But she's never been so funny – or so recognized for her talents – as she is playing quirky Sue Sylvester on Glee. Now, she's taking her colorful and comical act to Nickelodeon's hit iCarly, which stars teen sensation Miranda Cosgrove as Web star Carly Shay and Jennette McCurdy as her best friend Sam Puckett.

In an episode airing Saturday (8 p.m. ET), Lynch will play Sam's much-talked-about but never-before-seen mom Pam, who's known for her dubious dating and driving habits – as well as having a tattoo of a foot on her foot.

"We all love Jane Lynch and when we heard she was a fan of the show," Marjorie Cohn, Nick's president of original programming, says. "We knew instantly that only she could bring this fabled character to life." In an exclusive clip of the episode, Carly find herself stuck in a 'therapy box' with the feuding mother-daughter duo, who've been sequestered until they can work out their differences.

Gleek out on Everything Glee!
