Houston's invitation-only funeral will take place Saturday at noon at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, N.J., her rep tells PEOPLE.
According to an ABC report
, daughter Bobbi Kristina, who is recovering
from an emotional breakdown since her mother's death, has also arrived in New Jersey, as have Houston's bodyguard and brother-in-law Ray Watson.
Houston was born in Newark, where she began singing in church as a child in the choir.
