Scott Disick had a guys' night out in Sin City on Friday.

Kourtney Kardashian's ex hit up 1 Oak nightclub in Las Vegas with Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel, who is currently involved in an assault case after he allegedly hit his ex-girlfriend multiples times during an argument last month, according to a police report and an affidavit obtained by PEOPLE. (Manziel has not publicly responded to the allegations.)

Disick, 32, and Manziel, 23, also hung out with club owner Eli Pacino. Disick sipped on Grey Goose vodka.

On Saturday, Disick spoke to PEOPLE exclusively at Las Vegas' Mirage Hotel about his recent trip to Mexico with Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis and the photos that emerged showing the out-of-rehab star drinking beer.

"The only thing I find unfortunate is that I'm seeing a ton of press saying 'Scott's off the wagon and he's this and he's that and he's all these things,' " he said. "The truth is I never lied and said that I was never going to have a beer again. I never said I was never going to have a cigarette again. I never lied and said I was never going to go to the beach again. I never lied and said I was not going to be around my friends and their girlfriends and girls and friends."

"I was down there hanging out like any other single 32-year-old guy would be," he said, adding that he was there with many male friends, but images only showed him surrounded by women.

Disick, who shares three children with his ex Kardashian, went on to say rehab did help him, and that now he's "just trying to be responsible."

"I'm not out here trying to get wasted, but you know what, I will have a beer on the beach. I'm not doing drugs, I'm not doing anything insane, so I think people just need to relax … I just want to try to live my life," he said.

"In the end, I'm trying to live my life. I'm trying to live it healthy. I'm trying to be there for the people I love, which is Kourtney and kids, but you know what, we're not together."

Disick also said he was "very addicted to sleeping medication" but is now "totally fine."

On Sunday, Disick and Kardashian, 36, were spotted at a coffee shop in Calabasas, California, with their two eldest children: Mason, 6, and Penelope, 3. (The two are also parents to son Reign, 1.)
