It's been 10 years since Hannah Montana, the pre-teen pop star whose secret identity just happened to be a girl named Miley graced our hearts and screens and minds. In the intervening time, we learned that Miley Cyrus can twerk, that she really likes to get high and that, all told, she's got a lot more to her than her beginnings as a Disney moppet would've suggested.

Twitter's currently holding an anniversary celebration for the dearly departed Montana, and Cyrus herself is even feeling nostalgic, posting tributes to her Instagram.

And the eternal dilemma of the show:

And while, yes, there are always haters …

It's hard to deny the show's impact.

Or its quotability.

Today, it's Hannah Montana's world, and we're all just living in it. The show may be gone, but it lives on in our hearts. Good night, sweet Montana. Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.
