The 35-year-old reality star caught an overnight flight out of Los Angeles on Monday night to the home of Racquel Smith, the wife of former New Orleans Saints player Will Smith.
Both Racquel and Will were shot after a driver rear-ended their vehicle. An argument ensued and police alleged that Cardell Hayes produced a handgun and shot the couple.
Will died and Racquel was taken to a hospital, suffering a gunshot wound to the right leg. An official previously told PEOPLE that Racquel's injury was non-life-threatening.

In a follow-up tweet, the Keeping up with the Kardashians star wrote: "Sending so many prayers to her & her family! May the Lord surround her & her children with love and protection during this devastating time."

She also posted a message for the late football star: "Will, you were an angel to your family on earth and you will continue to be in the life after. May God bless you!" she tweeted.
Hayes was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder along with aggravated battery, police said.
