The funnyman has posted a pair of photos on Twitter that swiftly teed up speculation about what he may have in store as Oscars host for the big night on Sunday.
And judging by the snaps, those skits may just be out of this world.
In one pic, Rock pours himself into a NASA space suit, standing with a bewildered expression on his face.
"Getting my outfit together," he captioned the photo.

In another snapshot, he poses next to Kristen Wiig and director J.J. Abrams, as a seemingly green-screen setup looms in the background.
"Almost showtime," Rock, 51, writes, with the trio peering into the camera.

Fans are no doubt readily stretching for clues on what the Oscars skits may be about.
Does the space suit riff on Best Picture nominee The Martian – and its nominated lead actor, Matt Damon? (Unless, that is, Damon's other galactic odyssey, Interstellar, manages to wormhole its way through space and time from 2014?)
Will we see a Ghostbusters-Star Wars mashup with spookfest star Wiig and Jedi auteur Abrams?
Rock's clearly keeping his poker face.
The comedian is back as Oscars host for the second time around, having taken on emcee duties back in 2005 when he made a big splash with his edgy, take-no-prisoners zingers.
