PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly are hosting a live pre-show celebration of the Oscars on Sunday, Feb. 28, starting at 5:30pm ET/2:30pm PT from Los Angeles to New York – and we're live-streaming it all.
To help prepare you for all the glitz and glamour of the award ceremony, People Now's Jeremy Parsons and Andrea Boehlke are hosting the "PEOPLE & EW Red Carpet Live" pre-show from the New York studios. Meanwhile, PEOPLE deputy editor JD Heyman and Associated Press correspondent Alicia Quarles chat it up with the biggest names in Hollywood, including this year's nominees, live from the Oscars red carpet in Los Angeles.
"The Oscar red carpet will be the most exciting place on the planet on Sunday night, and we are thrilled and honored to be part of it," says Jess Cagle, editorial director of PEOPLE and EW. "And so happy that we are now able to bring it to our audience in real time."
The pre-show includes behind-the-scenes looks at the night's top fashion and beauty moments from PEOPLE style and beauty director Andrea Lavinthal, InStyle executive style correspondent Dana Avidan Cohn and MimiChatter.com editorial director Deanne Kaczerski, and Quantico fans can also get a sneak peek of Priyanka Chopra getting ready to take the stage as one of the Oscar presenters.
And if you're still debating who should take home those coveted gold statues at the end of the night, Entertainment Weekly correspondent Nina Terrero offers her predictions on who will win and who should win, while Essence Live host Dana Blair will discuss the #OscarsSoWhite controversy.
Social media influencer Jack Douglass, host of JacksFilms on the live broadcasting platform YouNow, will talk with some of PEOPLE's 200 VIP subscribers from the red carpet bleachers, who were chosen to participate in PEOPLE's fourth annual Oscars Fan Experience – and so much more!
The "People & EW Red Carpet Live" pre-show streams for two-and-a-half hours beginning 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. PT on the homepages of PEOPLE.com and EW.com. The pre-show can also be seen on InStyle.com, Essence.com, PeopleenEspanol.com and Time.com.
