Sam Smith Graces Oscars with Bond Song 'Writing's on the Wall'

His name's Smith, Sam Smith.

The British best original song nominee took the stage Sunday to perform a rendition of "Writing's on the Wall," his Bond song for the series' latest iteration, Spectre.

Sarah Silverman introduced the dapper singer, who looked slim in a sleek dunhill black tux while impressing the crowd as he hit the high notes with ease.

While the star, 23, won four Grammys in 2015 for his breakout LP In the Lonely Hour, his 007 track was snubbed this year when nominations for music's biggest night were announced.

Along with "Writing's on the Wall," the 2016 best original song nominations include: "Til it Happens to You" from The Hunting Ground, "Manta Ray" from Racing Extinction, "Simple Song No. 3" from Youth, and "Earned It" from Fifty Shades of Grey.

The 88th annual Awards, hosted by Chris Rock, are being presented live on ABC from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California.
