Chris Evans Made Up for Being an 'Annoying' Little Brother by Bringing His Sister to the Oscars

Chris Evans has officially redeemed himself in the eyes of his older sister.

Evans brought sister Carly Evans, 37, along as his date for the Academy Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles.

The Boston natives, who both wore black, smiled and waved to their mother watching at home before Carly gave a shout out to her kids while chatting with ABC's Lara Spencer.

Chris, 34, may be a movie star but back in the day he was just a little pest, according to Carly.

"He was a little brother so he did all the little brother things, he was annoying," Carly said of the Captain America: Civil War star.

But Chris hit back: "She was a bit of a bully."

Chris looked dapper in a simple dark tux and bow tie, while Oscars first-timer Carly picked a lace gown with three-quarter length sleeves.

The actor isn't the only star to bring a family member along to the ceremony – Leonardo DiCaprio tapped his mom (once again) as his Oscars date.
