After 45 years, Paul McCartney returned to the Ed Sullivan Theater – where he once played with The Beatles – on Wednesday to make his first appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. After talking about his "very good friend" Michael Jackson, he performed songs like "Band on the Run" and "Back in the U.S.S.R." during a mini-concert on top of the marquee.
