Emmy winner for best reality, The Amazing Race returned for its 15th season on Sunday with what some called a cruel twist: Twelve teams gathered in the bed of the L.A. River to start the race around the world for a prize of $1 million. But yoga instructors Eric and Lisa fell victim to the show's first starting-line elimination, when they couldn't find a Japanese license plate. The only place they got to go was home.
