Her birthday was the cherry on top of an amazing year for the Private Practice star. In addition to landing her own show, the San Jose-born beauty met movie producer Alex Young and after a whirlwind courtship the two were married in August. "I feel I'm in such a place of peace in my life." Walsh says, "that 40 feels like a great marker of a great year."
