In her Geisha girl phase in 1999, Madonna opened the show in this flame red kimono. That rendition of "Ray of Light" kicked off a big night for the singer, who won her first Grammy and eventually took home three awards. "I've been in the music business 16 years," she said in her acceptance speech. "This is my first Grammy ... but it was worth the wait and all that."
