1996: JFK JR. WEDS
John F. Kennedy Jr. marries Carolyn Bessette in a secret ceremony on an island in Georgia on Sept. 21. Nearly three years later, on July 16, 1999, Kennedy, 38, Carolyn, 33, and her sister Lauren, 34, die in a plane crash en route to Martha's Vineyard.
