The red carpet might have been a sea of sequins, but Michelle eschewed sparkle and brought a little color to the CMAs in a teal Matthew Williamson cocktail dress accented with a statement necklace by the designer, Ippolita bangles and peep-toe platforms. "This dress was love at first sight," she told PEOPLE. "It's the first time I'm wearing it and I've been gazing at it in my closet. I love the color – I don't wear color that often, it’s black, black, black and then this dress shining there!"
