Repeated run-ins with fans mistaking her for the comedian led Banks to make an appearance on Handler's late-night show and share an anecdote about their mistaken identity. "[A fan's] like 'I just love your books; My Horizontal Life,' and I was like, 'Oh, he thinks he's meeting Chelsea Handler,'" Banks said. "And I couldn't ruin it for him, you know. I was like 'yeah it's nice to meet you.'"
