"Adoption is an issue for everybody at all stages," Curtis, who has two adopted kids (Annie, 25, and Tom, 16) with Christopher Guest, told Ladies Home Journal. "There's tremendous loss and great love and great warmth." To help bridge those feelings, she wrote the 1996 children's book Tell Me Again About the Night I Was Born, which has been embraced by adoptive families.
